‘Badenscallie Cottages’ are situated in peaceful surroundings on a private fenced-in site of rough grass just one hundred yards
from the shore, and overlook Horse Island ~ one of the beautiful Summer Isles.
Both houses are furnished to a very high standard.
The accommodation is situated on a working croft and holidaymakers are welcome to walk around. If on holiday at lambing
time holidaymakers can meet the lambs!. They may also see the crofters shearing later in the year.
The Cottages are perfectly located for those holidaymakers who enjoy outdoor pursuits such as Fishing, Hill Walking, Painting, Birdwatching and Photography.
Visitors who prefer a relaxing holiday will discover a unique tranquillity and peace in this rugged paradise.
The surrounding countryside has a rich variety of wildlife. 
Cruises around the Summer Isles are available affording the holidaymaker the opportunity to land on Tanera Beag.
Within easy reach is the fishing port of Ullapool with its ferry link to Stornoway.
To the south of Ullapool lies the Corrieshalloch Gorge. Here can be found a viewing platform and an information board
overlooking a long, deep box canyon (originally created by glacial meltwaters) with the magnificent Falls of Measach at one end.
Close to Achiltibuie is the now famous Hydroponicum.
The sight of lemons, figs, and strawberries flourishing in northern Scotland makes the Hydroponicum an irresistible curiosity
for adults and children.
This giant indoor garden is based on a serious horticultural concern: the owners' passion for soil-free cultivation.
Guided tours show visitors around three different climate zones, growing fruits, flowers, and herbs, and explain the hydroponic
system.

Church, Hotel, Post Office, Smokehouse, Hydroponicum,
Cafe and Bars.
A number of hotels in the area offer a wide variety of dinner
menus and bar meals.
