Bay at Gairloch   Grinills

'Grinills' is situated in a third of an acre of grassed garden, in the delightful quiet, friendly crofting community of Opinan,
approximately 9 miles from Gairloch.
The property offers spectacular views across the bay to the Isle of Skye while the magnificent hills of Torridon dominate the
landscape.
Artists and photographer will be inspired by the splendour of this wonderful region of the Highlands of Scotland.
It is an ideal location for hill walking and bird watching or just having a very relaxing holiday.
The surrounding countryside has a rich variety of wildlife.
The more active can enjoy the fishing (fly or sea), golf, watersports and quad biking facilities which are available locally.
Clean sandy beaches are nearby, while Red Point, with it’s beautiful unspoilt clean beach, is some three miles distant.
Golfers will enjoy the excellent 9 hole golf course in Gairloch.
Visitors who prefer a relaxing holiday will discover a unique tranquillity and peace in this rugged paradise.
The house, garden and Opinan are all suitable for children to play safely.
Within easy reach is the fishing port of Ullapool with its ferry link to Stornoway.
To the south of Ullapool lies the Corrieshalloch Gorge.
Here can be found a viewing platform and an information board overlooking a long, deep box canyon (originally created by glacial meltwaters) with the magnificent Falls of Measach at one end.
Achiltibuie (28 miles) is home to the now famous Hydroponicum.
The sight of lemons, figs, and strawberries flourishing in northern Scotland makes the Hydroponicum an irresistible curiosity
for adults and children.
This giant indoor garden is based on a serious horticultural concern: the owners' passion for soil-free cultivation.
Guided tours show visitors around three different climate zones, growing fruits, flowers, and herbs, and explain the
hydroponic system.
Only 10 miles from the property is the magnificent Gardens of Inverewe.
