Lounge   Tarbet View

"Tarbet View" is a comfortable house sitting in 10 acres, 1 mile north of the village of Brora, facing the sea and backed
by rolling hills. The garden area has a slide, swing and sandpit that will be popular with the children of the family.
With open access to the hills and to the extensive beaches, it is perfect as a base for hill and coastal walks, scenic drives,
touring the highlands, and enjoying the wildlife.
The numerous golf courses in the region are superb and include the world famous Dornoch Links Course, the loch and
river fishing is varied and excellent, and the sea angling from boat or shore is well worth experiencing.
These can all be arranged.
To the west and southwest are the Tropical Gardens at Inverewe, the scenic splendour of Loch Maree and the picturesque
fishing port of Ullapool with it's ferry link to Stornoway.
Closer is Loch Shin and the famous Falls of Shin where salmon can be seen leaping at certain times of year.
To the North is the Kyle of Tongue, Bettyhill, Naver Bay and a multitude of sandy coves set between rocky headlands.
Within an Approximate 25 mile radius are Dunrobin Castle, Liath Brochs, Hilton of Cadboll Chapel, Balnagowan Castle
and Dunbeath Castle.
Little wonder Brora is such a popular base from which to tour this scenic part of the Highlands of Scotland.
The Owners also provide Bed and Breakfast Accommodation from their home at "Seaforth" and held the coveted "Best
Bed and Breakfast in Scotland" award from "Discover Britain" in 1999.
The same care and thought they apply to this self-catering holiday home, where you will find a welcome pack awaiting
your arrival.
If arriving by public transport, the owners will be happy to arrange to collect you on your arrival in Brora.
The house contains four large bedrooms, fully equipped, including all linen, to sleep from 2 to 10 persons.
Beds have duvets with ample blankets, including electric. Two bedrooms are on the ground floor and two are upstairs.
