View from Bedrooms 2 and 3   Gleniffer

Gleniffer is situated in the quiet, picturesque, residential village of Upper Largo, just 9 miles from St Andrews, and is centrally located
within close proximity to major Golf Courses in the Kingdom of Fife.
These include St Andrews, Lundin Links, Leven Bank, Elie, Anstruther, Crail and Kingsbarns.

This detatched 1898 Villa offers offers sizable, comfortable accommodation and has magnificent panoramic views over the Firth of
Forth and the village to the surrounding countryside.
It is ideally suited to those seeking peaceful accommodation close to many amenities.

Lower Largo (the birthplace of Robinson Crusoe), the beach and access to the Fife Coastal Path linking the East Neuk's many
popular seaside villages is only a ten minute walk from the property while access to the numerous local walking routes including
Largo Law being three minutes away.

Other popular activities include local fishing, boat outings and sailing in Lower Largo and an indoor waterpool sports facility with
slide is within easy reach in Leven town centre.
Watersports including windsurfing, paddle boats, sailing are available in Elie.
Fresh fish can be purchased locally throughout the year (including live lobster / crab when in season).

There is a well-appointed RSPB nature centre overlooking Loch Leven at Vane Farm.
The centre has an observation room, a nature trail, and a hide by the shore overlooking a birdwatching “scrape” (a shallow pool).
Thousands of pink-footed geese arrive here in autumn. Large numbers breeding or overwintering duck, geese, and whooper
swans are on the loch, while the surrounding wet fields have breeding snipe, redshank, and lapwing.

Dundee and Scotland's capital city, Edinburgh are easily reached being around 40 minutes distant by car
The architectural features, amenities and historic sites of Edinburgh are too numerous to list while the annual Military
Tattoo in Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, and the Edinburgh Festival attract visitors from all over the world.
