Red Kite Caravan   Red Kite Caravan

Red Kite Caravan is a recently equipped 3 bedroom chalet type caravan situated next to owners' property.
The caravan has private parking for up to 3 cars and garden area including patio furniture.
The caravan has been named as Red Kite because these birds are regularly seen from the garden.

The property is situated 6 miles north of Inverness on the Black Isle making it an ideal base for exploring local attractions
such as Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, Darnaway Castle, Brodie Castle, and the most formidable fortress in Europe,
Fort George.

The area has wild life parks,a wide variety of wildlife and visits to local distilleries and in particular the Black Isle Brewery
is popular with visitors to the area.

Within easy reach are the award winning beaches in Sutherland, The nature reserve at Torridon, the Cairngorm mountains,
Loch Ness and the Loch Ness visitor centre at the lochside village of Drumnadrochit.
Near this village the ruins of Urquhart Castle overlook Loch Ness and it is well worthy of a visit.

The City of Inverness has an excellent shopping centre, theatre, cinema, swimming pool/leisure centre and golf courses.
Inverness also has a great many hotels and restaurants, banks, garages, post office and supermarkets as well as tartan
and craft shops.

The golfer will delight in the abundance of fine courses within easy reach at Muir of Ord, Fortrose and Rosemarkie,
Strathpeffer, Tain and the championship course at Nairn.

Fishing is widely available in local lochs and rivers and sea angling is popular in the area.
Water sports facilities are available and Dolphin spotting boat trips are widely available from a number of villages on the
shores of the Moray Firth.

Also worthy of a visit is Cromarty Courthouse, built in 1773, when commercial activity in the town of Cormarty had reached
a peak, and is notable among the many fine Georgian buildings that have survived in this town.
Today the Courthouse is a visitor centre with animated period figures, a reconstructed trial, prison cells, and plenty of
background information about its role when Cromarty was a thriving burgh.

With so much to see and do it is little wonder this area is so popular among visitors to Scotland.
